With approximately 700 students and more than 400 faculty and staff members, Mbarara University of Science & Technology (MUST) - Uganda, is the country's second public university. The University currently has one campus which is located close to downtown Mbarara (read more about Mbarara).  The
town of Mbarara is found about 300 km south west of Uganda's capital Kampala.
